Hi, I'm Bustle on AO3! If you’re here looking for greater clarity about my likes and what I like about my requested fandoms and pairings, or if you want more detailed prompts than the tags themselves, I hope this is illuminating. I also feel that all the tags I requested are fantastic prompts in their own right, so please don't feel beholden to running with my prompts if there's a different idea you have for a tag that you're excited for - I would love to see it! If there's a specific tag I don't elaborate on, it's not that I want it less - I simply don't have anything to add to it as a prompt. I’m happy to receive either art or fic. Pairings: Chrom/Female Robin

My favorite thing about Chrom/Robin is how much of the story is built around their connection to each other. The strength of their relationship helps save the world - and brings Robin back from death, if you choose that path! Chrom’s indestructible faith in Robin, Robin’s bone-deep loyalty to Chrom, and the way their love for each other is canonically so important, even if it isn’t always canonically romantic, all draw me very strongly into shipping it. I also adore the breadth of possibilities it offers - depending on when in the game you choose to set a story with these two, it can be very fluffy or very angsty or somewhere bittersweetly in-between.

I specifically love female Robin because I feel that the character has a lot of traits that simultaneously make them a good tactician and are flaws, like an ability to detach emotionally and make difficult decisions for strategic reasons, a certain cocky arrogance in their abilities in some regards, and being the more cool logical counterpart to Chrom’s emotional, hot-headed decision-making, which I find very interesting on Robin as a female character. Also, I simply gravitate more towards female protagonists / het relationships with complicated female characters and men who are competent and admire them. Chrom/Robin gives me that with a battle couple to boot.

Fic Prompts:

• Arranged Marriage / Political Marriage prompts: I requested a lot of these, because it's a very beloved trope of mine and I think Chrom and Robin are rife for AUs where Robin has grown up in Plegia and they are in an arranged marriage, for any variety of reasons. I'm lumping most of these together here, because the tags themselves mostly cover the range of ideas I have for how and why this would come about - an alliance to prevent further war, betrothed as children (as part of a peace pact?), a setup for a covert assassination operation, or even the potential that they somehow met and fell in love and are trying to convince their families that it would be politically helpful for them to marry. There's also a lot of room to play around with who is involved, and why - is Chrom's father still alive? How is he convinced to let his son marry someone from Plegia? Is he dead, and Emmeryn is Exalt? Would she and Chrom come to the reluctant conclusion that the alliance was necessary for peace? It's all really interesting! The biggest part of this trope for me is that they do fall in love for real, whether it's before or after they consummate the marriage. (Dubcon DNW is not applicable to my arranged marriage requests, if you're interested in writing them having sex because they feel it is required as part of the marriage).
• Honeymoon - Thought the Honeymoon Would Be Bad and They Were Wrong was requested specifically with the arranged loveless (at first) marriage scenarios in mind, although if you have an idea for why Chrom and Robin in the canon timeline would have that expectation and are proven thoroughly wrong, I'm all ears :D
• Supernatural - Eros and Psyche AU - pretty self-explanatory! I love the idea of either of them in either role. It's one of my absolute favorite myths - the pining and the perseverance, and of course, finding love and happiness where it wasn't expected (from the character in Psyche's place).
• Anniversary - I requested the base tag as a blanket request for any anniversary content of them. No matter which anniversary of theirs it is, I would like to see it! Chrom and Robin one year into their marriage and SO in love, or the first anniversary after Robin is back and surrounded by their kids, or the two of them growing old together and still being so affectionate that it's embarrassing to witness.
• Engagement - Comfort and Promising to Do Better Than Dysfunctional Birth Family of Spouse(s) - between Chrom's father, and how Robin at the time of their marriage in the canon timeline has no memory of her family at all (and none show up before the wedding), there's a lot of good hurt/comfort fodder for them with this one.
• Courtship - Misunderstood Attempts at Courting Result in Surprise Proposal - Robin having no memory is a great playground for being unfamiliar with certain customs, especially since we're not sure if she grew up in Ylisse. It would be really cute if Chrom thought he was courting her very properly and up-front, and Robin had no idea these overtures were being made.
• Wedding - Ostentatious Royal Wedding - I love this one for them, because it's something I can't see either of them wanting. But it's required from a person of Chrom's station, and Robin would know that being at the center of a massive royal wedding is the price of marrying him, so they can navigate it together!
• Wedding Planning - Someone is a Bridezilla and It's Not the Bride - Frederick is a prime candidate here, I think. He's so fussy! Why do Chrom and Robin not care about floral arrangements enough?!

Art Prompts:

• The arranged marriage prompts are a fantastic reason to design some fun wedding outfits for them! Would Chrom's be similar to Groom Marth's from FEH? Something like his exalt outfit, or something unique? Would Robin's Plegian wedding garb have elements from things like this Cipher art?
• Supernatural - Eros and Psyche AU - the thought of a little scene of these two, one of them holding a candle to get a good look at the other one, is just something I want to see so much. Would it be Robin, with six Grima wings? Is it the other way around, with Chrom as Eros and Robin as Psyche? Either would be incredible.
• Anniversary - blanket request for a depiction of any anniversary. Year one and super in love, the first year after Robin's return from sacrificing herself, a tenth anniversary surrounded by children, the two of them growing old together with crow's feet and Chrom's hair greying at the temples - anything. Maybe he'd grow a beard? Only you, anonymous artist, can decide!
• I always, always, always like cunnilingus, if you're going for the smutty tags. Always.

Fire Emblem Heroes
Fandom-specific DNWs: Emphasis on Chrom being stupid, softened "just misunderstood, actually!" Grima, in-fighting or lots of serious, angry jealousy between different Robins or Chroms if going the harem route.
Pairings: Chrom/Female Robin, Chrom/Female Grima

Chrom and Robin in FEH is all the fun of Chrom/Robin in Awakening, with additional potential for all the hijinks that comes from them being summoned to a new world, sometimes with multiple versions of themselves present simultaneously. There's a lot of room to play around with goofy wedding magic!

Chrom/Grima takes all the things I love about Chrom/Robin and puts it through an angst blender and makes everything bittersweet or outright sad and I really, really love that. But there's also a lot of room for funny, lighthearted takes, since Grima can't actually do much to Askr with the contract in place. Tone here could be wildly variable and there's a lot of creative freedom with these prompts! My big ask is that Grima is not too defanged - a comedic take is fine but I still want a villainous Grima who wants to destroy everything, even if she can't at the moment and is mad about that. And maybe she's in a wolf costume.

Fic Prompts for Chrom/Female Robin:

• The dimensional travel tags are ones I don't have much to elaborate on - mostly, what if Chrom is summoned from a world where Robin made the sacrifice and hasn't come back, and he marries one of the Robins in Askr?
• Harem - Marrying Multiple Versions of the Same Spouse - would LOVE to see this for either of them being at the center of the harem. It's up to you if Chrom marrying all the FEH female Robins includes the two Grimas, or just her regular version and summer alt. Robin could potentially marry six Chroms, if you count the original and resplendent separately. How do they navigate being married to this many versions of their love? Is there a schedule that Robin draws up? Is there playful competition for the shared spouse's attention?
• For the soul bonding tags, I love the idea that the stat boost of the S Rank mechanic translates in-universe to a soul bond that makes them stronger.

Art Prompts for Chrom/Female Robin:

• Of the tags I requested for this pairing, I think the harem would translate best visually (though if you have ideas for the others, I'm certainly not opposed). And fanart of one of them in the center of all the other's alts would be really sweet, I would love that so much. Or it could be really hot, if you were interested in tackling a smutty take! (See above for my general smut likes, all especially applicable here).

Fic Prompts for Chrom/Female Grima:

• Similar to the Chrom/Female Robin prompts, my ideas for the dimensional travel tags are straightforward. There's a lot of potential for complicated feelings on both ends, with Chrom marrying a Grima possessed Robin - how is it happening, in the first place? Is it by the summoner's will? Do they think they are simply marrying him off to his loved one, and doing them a favor? Does Grima!Robin feel like a second-place replacement, and resent it and get even surlier?
• The soul bond tags are further potential for exploring the idea of the S Rank mechanic being magically binding! These two being tied together would be so interesting, and difficult for both.
• Supernatural - Marriage to Appease An Angry God - forced marriage by the summoner perhaps? What better way to appease your extremely angry Grima than throwing a sacrificial lamb at them in the form of a Chrom they can keep as a pet spouse!

Art Prompts for Chrom/Female Grima:

• Any take on Chrom marrying an obviously Grima-possessed Robin would be cute. How scared vs determined vs happy he looks is all up to you! Extra bonus points if he is marrying the Grima wearing a wolf costume, because she is so cute, and so goofy, and I love her so much. I really want to see this angry demigod trapped in the body of a woman wearing an adorable wolf costume begrudgingly marrying the love of her life.

Graceling Realm Series
Fandom-specific DNWs: Erasure of Bitterblue's canonical skin tone in art / if it comes up in descriptions in fic.
Pairings: Bitterblue/Giddon

When I started reading Bitterblue, I definitely did not expect to leave it clutching a burning desire for Bitterblue/Giddon, but I got it all the same! I found their relationship fascinating. Bitterblue, surrounded over and over again by people who try to control her through lies, and who often ends up telling lies of her own to establish some control back, establishes this one relationship in her life where both parties are nothing but honest with each other. Their friendship only crops up for small parts of the book, but it left a huge impact on me - whenever they were together, Bitterblue seemed to admire him so much, and they cared about each other immensely and to understood each other in ways I didn’t expect! Especially since, from Katsa’s POV, there wasn’t anything lovable about Giddon. But, with added years giving him necessary maturity and humility and different perspectives, Giddon transformed into someone who I found very likeable indeed!

There were a lot of little things that I found so important for Bitterblue to have, like when it was suggested that she wait to read her father’s journals until she had him around for emotional support, and the aforementioned promises to be honest. Giddon’s life also goes through great upheaval, and I love the idea of these two being pillars of stability and honesty in each other’s lives, and that eventually blooming into love, coupled with their admiration and care for each other that already exists in canon.

Winterkeep Spoilers

And then Winterkeep came out, and gave me everything I wanted and never expected to get for this pairing AND MORE. The pining! The mutual support. The pining! Size difference! They have fade-to-black sex, and discuss having children! The pining!! I honestly never expected to get an installment making them go this canon, in a way that hits my favorite tropes that hard. Thank you, Winterkeep.

Fic Prompts:

• Historical - Bard Immortalizes Wedding In Ballad To Couple's Delight Or Embarrassment - this one seems especially cute because I think they may have different responses, but I could go either way on which of them is delighted and which is embarrassed. Or maybe they're both a little of both!
• Courtship - Elaborate Courtship with the Intention of Marriage / Courtship - Formal Courtship with the Intention of Marriage - I definitely think that Giddon would be interested in doing everything Correctly, and for courting royalty like Bitterblue, I can only imagine that would mean a long and drawn out, ridiculous engagement. What kind of weird hoops would he need to jump through to court the Queen of Monsea?
• Historical - Court Reaction to Unexpected Marriage / Marrying for Love - Politically Inconvenient - Bitterblue's court is expressly unhappy with Giddon and his closeness with the Queen, feeling that a disenfranchised and kind of shady lord isn't a good association for her. I can't imagine that would get better (at least at first) with their decision to marry.
• Wedding - Ostentatious Royal Wedding - Similar to a lot of notes in the above, I think Giddon would maybe be more invested both in tradition for the sake of upholding important traditions, and also in proving himself a worthy suitor for the Queen to her advisors. I mostly think Bitterblue would just want to be married already and maybe try to sneak around and steal time with him for just them, but she would understand the requirements of her station and that her marriage would be a time of celebration for her people, and bear them with grace even if she was privately frustrated. The conflict between those and how she manages the stress would be super interesting to see!
• Wedding Night - Sexual Exploration - they're both sexually experienced, but how well they know each other's likes may vary, if they decide they need to hold off on messing around too much until everything is rubberstamped. And then the wedding night, they could finally unleash!
• Wedding Planning - Friends And Family Being Way Too Involved - there's so many big personalities in these books and I can definitely see a lot of the cast wanting to have a say in this big wedding between two people they care about so much.
• Wedding Planning - Practically Everyone In The City Wants To Get Them A Good Wedding Gift - the agonies of trying to buy wedding presents for royalty :p What do you get the Queen who doesn't need anything and her consort?

Art Prompts:

• Historical - Bard Immortalizes Wedding In Ballad To Couple's Delight Or Embarrassment - I can definitely picture these two reacting with fantastic expressions to such a ballad being composed and performed in their honor. Who's more embarrassed? Who's happy? Both are both? I could see this a lot of different ways.
• Wedding Night - Sexual Exploration - a perfect place for any of my general smut likes. Especially cunnilingus! Always cunnilingus. And hair kink.
• Wedding Planning - Friends And Family Being Way Too Involved - a big, rowdy group picture of the cast, perhaps? I love the entire extended cast, so basically any cameos from any of their friends in all the books would be welcome. I do request that Saf isn't given a large emphasis if present, but him being present and happy for them would be lovely.
• Would Bitterblue's wedding outfit have Lienid touches? What would that look like? Based off the propensity for gold rings and Bitterblue's general association for blue, I have to imagine blue fabric and gold touches would be involved. But maybe there would be special traditional colors instead!
