Hello, my creator for FIAB and potential treaters! I am Bustle on AO3. First off, apologies for leaving the letter so long! I hope you can still get some use out of it. Secondly, if you’re here looking for greater clarity about my likes and what I like about my requested fandoms and pairings, or if you want more detailed prompts, I hope this is illuminating. Please don't feel beholden to running with my prompts if there's a different idea you have for a tag that you're excited for - I would love to see it! If there's a specific tag I don't elaborate on, it's not that I want it less - I simply don't have anything to add to it as a prompt. Thank you for creating something for me!

Fire Emblem: Awakening
Fandom-specific DNWs: Emphasis on Chrom being stupid, Softened "just misunderstood, actually!" Grima.
Pairings: Chrom/Female Robin, Solo Female Robin, Solo Chrom, Chrom & Lucina, Female Robin & Lucina, Female Robin & Male Morgan, Chrom & Male Morgan
My favorite thing about Chrom/Robin is how much of the story is built around their connection to each other. The strength of their relationship helps save the world - and brings Robin back from death, if you choose that path! Chrom’s indestructible faith in Robin, Robin’s bone-deep loyalty to Chrom, and the way their love for each other is canonically so important, even if it isn’t always canonically romantic, all draw me very strongly into shipping it. I also adore the breadth of possibilities it offers - depending on when in the game you choose to set a story with these two, it can be very fluffy or very angsty or somewhere bittersweetly in-between.
I specifically love female Robin because I feel that the character has a lot of traits that simultaneously make them a good tactician and are flaws, like an ability to detach emotionally and make difficult decisions for strategic reasons, a certain cocky arrogance in their abilities in some regards, and being the more cool logical counterpart to Chrom’s emotional, hot-headed decision-making, which I find very interesting on Robin as a female character. Also, I simply gravitate more towards female protagonists.
Chrom is a character who is very, very dear to me - I adore his earnest nature and his struggles to be a good leader, the way he looks up to his sister, and his big heart. I really like that he is in some ways selfish and emotional and unable to see the bigger picture, unlike people he looks up to like Emmeryn and Robin. I always, always want complex and introspective takes on Chrom and both his strengths and his failings.
I would love to see development of the dynamics between Chrom & Morgan, Lucina & Robin, or Chrom & Lucina, either as family or, if you don't want to make Chrobin family stuff, interacting with the child of their best friend / things like Morgan and Lucina's platonic friendship.
I do request that if we match on Lucina & Robin, Chrom & Morgan, etc, and you do not want to make them related to each other, please do not specify who the parents of Lucina and/or Morgan are and focus on the platonic dynamic between the requested characters instead. Similarly, if we match on Chrom & Lucina and you have no desire to make Robin her mother, leaving her other parent vague would be greatly appreciated.

So, for the longest time, I was not aware that the movie The Mummy (1999) and its sequel The Mummy Returns had a romance that is so EXACTLY the kind of romance I like. I've been missing out for years! But no longer!! I have watched them and the romance is, indeed, exactly my favorite romance dynamic. They have the most belligerent sexual tension in the first movie, it's incredible. They're just there, eye-fucking the whole time? Right in front of Jonathan's salad?? And then in the second they are SO married and adorable. I love that action family.
I think the core of what I like about this pairing, aside from the fact that they are both mega hot and have great chemistry on-screen, is the mutual support and protectiveness. I especially enjoyed how clearly hot Rick found it that Evy is a massive nerd who geeks out about stuff. The part where he, entirely seriously, tells a guy to move because he's in Evy's spot when she's found something new and wants to tell him about it is burned into my brain. And she seems so taken in by him and his capability and handsomeness! I just want to hear about all their adventures together, getting into weird trouble and getting back out of it and being parents to Alex and, you know, living it up and having awesome sex lives when they have opportunities. Or if they run across some weird ancient curse that makes them have sex. Oh, the humanity! :D
(also the size difference and they're both so pretty)
My preference for this request would be mostly sticking to the first two movies since those are the ones I have seen, but extending beyond to write about their life afterwards starting from the second movie is entirely welcome!

Graceling Realm Series
Fandom Specific DNWs: Depictions of Dellian characters or Po with very pale / ivory skin tones (if it happens to come up in the work! not necessary for it to be mentioned)
Pairings: Brigan/Fire, Fire & Hanna, Brigan/Fire & Hanna, Katsa/Po, Mila/Nash
I think my favorite thing about these books is how complicated and difficult things get, and how there aren’t a lot of simple, easy answers. Fire will always be navigating her monsterhood and the effect she has on people, which complicates everything in her life tenfold.
I specifically like that Brigan's mental fortitude allows him to hate Fire at first, so that when he does come to like her, it’s because he’s one of the rare people who sees her as a person instead of being enthralled by her monstrous beauty. He loves her as a person, and that's so important and a much more fraught things for her than most! I loved so much about Fire, and the difficult choices she made, and the way these two become so protective of each other. I liked the gestures he made, like replacing the violin, and the way he was the one she turned to with her grief about not being able to have children.
I adore Brigan as a dad and am very hungry both for content of the three of them as a family, and specifically with content exploring how Fire slots into the family and becomes a mother figure for Hanna! Fire's care with children's feelings and her insistence on their intelligence and nurturing their understanding are lovely. Her yearning for a child to love and raise and how heartbroken she is that it would be irresponsible of her to have children by blood makes it all so heartwarming that she does, in the end, find a way to become a parent. So, I'd just really love to have more content featuring that to roll around in! Do they end up adopting other children as well, or do they focus on parenting Hanna?
Similarly to Fire's issues with literally being a "monster", I loved Katsa's struggle to find her personhood outside of being a tool for her uncle, and her resulting determination to never be subject to anyone's will except her own, ever again. And I loved how much Po loved her wildness and freedom, how he was the perfect person to complement her need for independence. It's fantastic how the two of them understand and support each other beautifully even if they're surrounded by people who can't quite grasp it. They're so fun together! The snippets we get of them in Bitterblue, where they're always wrestling and tackling each other into fountains were adorable. I'd love more of that :D Just, two people who completely get each other enjoying life and freedom, together.
Mila and Nash are fascinating to me! They fall in love so quickly, and mostly off-page, out of sight of Fire herself. And it happens in the middle of both of them recovering from heartbreak over other people! I'd love to see something fleshing them out more - what is their day-to-day life like? Does Nash fully end up thinking of Mila's baby as his own, or are the dynamics more complicated than that? Is her family brought to the palace to live with them, and is the adjustment hard on them? I think above all I'd love to see Mila pampered and truly beloved by Nash, even if things are tough sometimes. He seems like a person who would be very intense in any relationship he's in, and Mila deserves all the nice things!

Pairings: Anne Elliot/Frederick Wentworth
It's all about the pining. The delicious, delicious pining! The angst when they are sure that they've missed their chance to be together, Wentworth's anger and injured pride, Anne's resigned, quiet sadness - all so delicious! And of course it all beautifully heightens the happiness when they do get together, at long last. <3
This is a prime example of perhaps my favorite genre of all - that is, underappreciated sad woman thinks she is past her chance for happiness, only to find out that that is not true and she gets the love, security, and joy she has been longing for. I love it so, so much. I love that Anne is an unsung hero of her family, constantly overlooked even though she is the glue holding them all together, only for her to finally get the chance to break free and go after what she wants!
I would single out a part of the novel I'm interested in reading fic set in, but really, truly any part of it at all would be wonderful. I want Anne moping around thinking about how she turned Wentworth down and still thinks about him! I want them being awkward while he's trying to make her jealous with Louisa! I want his desperate admiration and realization of how badly he's fucked up once they make it to visit Harville, and I want them in Bath yearning for each other so much they can't stand it! And post-canon happiness! Having a family, being in love, their sex life, whatever you think that looks like! Pre-canon, in the throes of first love! Did they scandalously mess around in secret then, heightening the heartbreak when they broke things off? You decide!

Pairings: Barney Snaith/Valancy Stirling
I just finished this book very recently and am already yearning for a re-read. I loved everything about it - most especially, the way Valancy starts out so convinced of her own unhappiness and slowly learns to live for herself. Her life is so bleak and grey at the start, and so vibrant and wonderful by the end! She gets everything she could have asked more, and a lot that she never would have dreamed to think of. Her wishes were so moderate - just her own little dust-pile would have done. And that's why Barney loves her, I think! She genuinely wants to stop and take pleasure in the small things, and is always so honest and straightforward.
I loved the entire book to pieces, but I think my very favorite part is once they are married, living out their year together in their cozy cottage with the seasons changing around them. The scenery descriptions were sublime and the descriptions of the cottage were so charming and comforting, and of course the two of them falling in love with someone they were already married to was perfection.
I also especially enjoyed Valancy's pain when she realized she wasn't dying - that her impetus for changing everything was false, and that she thought she had trapped Barney into decades of a marriage he didn't want, unable to see how he very much did want to be in the marriage!
Basically, this book had everything I love with these tropes - the pining, the hurt/comfort, the fluffy conclusion, the affirmation of Valancy and her worth - wrapped up in the sweetest package with a big old bow of lovely nature descrptions. It was a delight, and an instant favorite with me. I want all of the intense fluff for these two, but as I think angst only heightens the fluffiness of a happy conclusion, it's very welcome if the way there is tough on them. :D

Prompts:
- Medium Opt In: Art - Pin-up Poster of Character - could potentially be based on Frederick and Chrom's support, where he canonically commissions nudes of his lord to make motivational posters!
- Medium Opt In: Illustrated Text (Art & Writing) - Field Report - either Chrom writing reports to Emmeryn, or Robin writing reports to Chrom if they're separated at some point?
- Medium Opt In: Illustrated Text (Art & Writing) - Excerpts from a Journal/Notebook/Sketchbook - I particularly like the idea of Robin and/or Morgan keeping a diary or sketchbook or something, both because of their inquisitive natures and as a tool for coping with having no memory. Keeping a record of things could be reassuring!
- I have a general yearning for more dad content with Chrom, always, and want all the cute baby content exploring a father and son relationship with Morgan. I would also be very interested in bonding between them with an older Morgan as well, since canon is a little scant on their interactions and they have a similar sort of earnestness. I’d like to see how they rebuild a father-son relationship with all the time-travel weirdness and Morgan’s loss of memory between them.
- Similarly, but more fraught with tension, I would love to see Lucina and Robin navigate their parent-child relationship at just about any point in the game - especially with Lucina probably suspecting her of killing Chrom, and the scene where she tries to kill her to prevent it. There’s a lot of angst potential.
- For unrelated, non-family female Robin and Lucina, I would love to see their relationship being wary and difficult but filled with a lot of respect for each other's abilities, and the knowledge that they both want the same things, handled more seriously and with fewer accusations of seductive intent than their in-game non-parent supports.
- General Morgan and Chrom prompts - Morgan decides that Chrom is a perfect test subject for traps, because he is so straightforward and trusting and generally expects that his Shepherds are honest with him in turn. It's a recipe for him ending up in a pit. Or Chrom could teach Morgan how to use a sword, accompanied with internal comparisons between this burgeoning tactician and his mother. Or Morgan could decide he's going to study Chrom and figure out what makes him tick, the same way he studies bugs he finds fascinating, and spends time following him around camp and also asking everyone questions about him. Chrom is a little weirded out, having his habits examined so closely, but is also fond of the boy.
- I love default Robin, but I'm extremely partial to this alternate hairstyle on her:

- Medium Opt In: Illustrated Text (Art & Writing) - Field Report - Either Brigan reporting to Nash (potential to squeeze in hints of both Brigan/Fire and Nash/Mila, perhaps!) or Katsa and Po communicating with The Council, perhaps? Correspondence with Bitterblue would also be really cool!
- Reddit posts have a lot of potential for this fandom, I think. AITA for breaking up with my FWB because he can't just be friends with me (and also I'm in love with the other dude, help)? Mila and Nash on an r/relationships advice post, advising each other on how to move past their respective rejections?
- Medium Opt In: Art - Excerpts from a Character's Sketchbook / Medium Opt In: Illustrated Text (Art & Writing) - Excerpts from a Journal/Notebook/Sketchbook - Hanna having a sketchbook or diary or something along those lines could be a really cute way to explore her evolving relationship with her father, with Fire as her mother, and her own growth as she matures!

Prompts:
- Medium Opt In: Art - Adaptation Concept Art - Imagine a live action drama, or a charming cartoon or comic made out of this novel! Or even an anime! This is a story that deserves to be adapted, and I really want to see ideas for it.
- Medium Opt In: Art - Excerpts from a Character's Sketchbook / Medium Opt In: Illustrated Text (Art & Writing) - Excerpts from a Journal/Notebook/Sketchbook - Valancy starts keeping a sketchbook or journal, chronicling the (supposed) last year of her life and all the wondrous sights she's seeing in nature, the life she's finally living!
- Medium Opt In: Instructions - Recipe book - recipes for when you are living in the coziest of cottages in Canada, eating wild berries from the vine and catching your own fish?
- Reddit posts would be gold for these two! AITA for going to the doctor without asking my family first? AITA for hating my perfect cousin, just because I want my own dust pile (with requisite explanation of the dust pile incident)? Barney in the comments, being supportive! Or a highly upvoted post explaining their story, or a r/relationships posts where Valancy is freaking out about not dying is a problem, with an edit explaining how it all works out! Many, many possibilities here.
